How to start drawing it

1. 1

   Angle the body about 45 degrees with the beak reaching into the flower.

   Draw the wings as two blurred arcs above and below the body line.

3. 3

   Build the flower from a cone and flare the rim into five lobes.

4. 4

   Balance the composition with the stem curving opposite the tail.
